I went to the signing at @eagleeyebooks back in February and it was such a great experience getting to meet with Danielle Jensen and hear her talk about her books. She mentioned being inspired by John Gwynne’s The Shadow of the Gods and having read both I can confirm that it has the same viking energy but with a heavier focus on romance. It was an easy read with an interesting magic system and I just fell in love with Bjorn alongside Freya.
