Hello world!

Welcome to Owl Abridged! “Hello, world!” is the traditional basic program anyone learning a new programming language starts out with. I work full time as an Enterprise Applications Developer, so as a book lover who works in IT, I thought it was an appropriate way to start a new blog! Blogging is entirely new to me so bear with me as the site and content grow.

A little about the blog:

I don’t have any grand plans for the blog outside of it being an outlet for me to share anything and everything book related. Content will likely include upcoming releases I’m looking forward to, book reviews, and informational posts about events or topics I find interesting. My reading interests vary across genres but for the most part, I expect to see more content related to Adult & YA Fantasy, Romance, and Historical Fiction.
