We are Inevitable is a tribute to music, indie bookstores, and community. Aaron Stein is stuck in Cascade Mountains, Washington running a failing bookshop while his friends have all left for college. Nothing is really going well in his life until he runs into Chad, an old friend of his brother’s. A community springs up around the bookshop following this encounter and Aaron discovers he doesn’t have to try to save it alone.
I loved the commentary on indie stores dying out & supporting local book stores. I’m guilty of buying from Amazon because it’s cheaper/easier but this story has encouraged me to step back out and visit my own local store now that it is once again accepting visitors.
