    The Once and Future Witches by Alix Harrow

    The Once and Future Witches is a lyrical, atmospheric celebration of women. It is an alternate history of witchcraft, empowerment, and women’s rights. Harrow combines real events and historical figures in a condensed timeline with witchcraft and magic. Taking place in 1893, the story follows the three Eastwood sisters in their quest to return witchcraft to the world. Strengths: Harrow is a talented writer and I loved the lyrical prose.     Happy book birthday to We are Inevitable by Gayle Forman!! 🦕🎂We are Inevitable is a tribute to music, indie bookstores, and community. Aaron Stein is stuck in Cascade Mountains, Washington running a failing bookshop while his friends have all left for college.     Welcome to Owl Abridged! “Hello, world!” is the traditional basic program anyone learning a new programming language starts out with.
